Educating North Dakotans about Medicaid Expansion and the Health Insurance Marketplace
In conjunction with Indianapolis-based health technology company HTMS, Aukema & Associates worked with the North Dakota Department of Human Services to conduct extensive research, plan, write and provide public outreach on implementation of the Affordable Care Act. We developed a strategic communications and training plan and facilitated a series of public meetings held in each region of North Dakota. Collateral materials, fact sheets, website copy and video Public Service Announcements were created with a unique brand and targeted toward a number of different audiences: health care employees and advocates, consumers, state and county employees, and members of the four Federally-recognized tribes of North Dakota.
