Megan Aukema
As Vice President of Marketing at Pointshare Corporation, a healthcare technology company acquired by Siemens Health Services Corporation, Megan built a top performing marketing team focused on increasing revenue and maximizing company exposure in the industry. With a small staff and lean budget, Megan dramatically increased leads and achieved regular coverage for the company in the top industry magazines and analyst reports. She led Pointshare’s positioning and branding efforts, which were instrumental in achieving high valuations and the eventual sale of the company to a large, established healthcare company. The marketing department worked as a team, and Megan wrote her fair share of press releases and newsletter articles, in addition to leading the strategic efforts of the group. Before Pointshare, Megan served in a number of positions including Operations Director at the Foundation for Health Care Quality, a collaborative organization focused on improving health information resources, with activities in the areas of electronic commerce, quality assessment, and consumer affairs.
